Agenda

  • What do you think of my new project?

  • What should I be mindful of this time round?

Feedback

  • Try not to fall flat like the last project (snowy) try and plan a bit so that you will meet the deadline

  • Think about the layout of the art bible. Possibly using a book format

  • Treat it like a fully realised art style guide

  • Include bits of narrative; set the tone for the world (prose)

  • Decide on mechanics

  • The game needs to accomidate ____? etc

  • Look at different cameras; Dota 3 fixed camera (no pitch or yaw) they have half made trees because of this

  • Figure out a narrative so you can work the art around that

  • When presenting the work use the concept as the background for the 3d work but faded

Objectives for next week

  • Decide what content I am putting in the guide

  • Make a page breakdown (this will help me figure out how long to spend on things)

  • Start the book and get the format done

  • Continue with concepting
